AirTech Sporting Shooting Vest
Designed for competitive clay shooting
The AirTech Sporting Shooting Vest is built on a lightweight technical structure developed for sustained performance. Based on the AirTech platform, it combines reduced mass with reinforced architecture to maintain balance and garment stability during dynamic movement. The pattern construction follows a functional approach, allowing fluid upper-body motion while preserving consistent positioning under load.
AirTech lightweight construction
The primary fabric is part of the AirTech family: lightweight, breathable, and resistant to deformation. It reduces overall mass without sacrificing structure, maintaining vertical stability even when cartridge pockets are loaded. Ventilation is integrated into the construction to assist thermal balance during extended sessions, while the fabric remains responsive and stable against the torso.
Structural mesh reinforcement
Strategically placed structural mesh panels reinforce high-stress zones of the shooting vest. These panels enhance airflow while preserving dimensional stability over time. The mesh prevents distortion caused by repetitive loading and upper-body motion, ensuring that pocket positioning and garment balance remain consistent.
Functional front pockets
The front cartridge pockets are reinforced to maintain a stable opening profile even under load. Their structure prevents collapse when partially filled, allowing direct and repeatable hand access without forcing wrist angles. The pocket depth is calibrated to secure cartridges while preserving a clean extraction path, supporting controlled reload rhythm during demanding rounds.
Inside the vest, two internal mesh pockets add functional storage without increasing bulk. Each mesh compartment features an elasticated upper edge designed to keep the opening tensioned, preventing personal items from slipping out during rotation or forward movement. The mesh construction reduces weight while maintaining visibility of contents, integrating practical storage within the technical framework of the shooting vest.
Rear hull pocket
An integrated rear hull pocket provides a dedicated compartment for spent cartridges. Positioned centrally on the back panel, it maintains garment balance while allowing efficient collection during training sessions. The hull pocket is dimensioned to remain stable under load and does not interfere with stance transitions or upper-body rotation.
The 3D patch reinforces brand identity through a technical tactile finish.
Recoil pad with customizable option
The shoulder pad is dimensioned with precision to distribute contact pressure evenly across the mounting zone. Its size is specifically engineered to provide sufficient coverage without unnecessary bulk, supporting repeatable and fluid gun mount execution. The surface promotes controlled glide during the upward movement of the gun. Upon request, the shoulder pad can be customized with the FITASC line.
Suede under-pocket panels
Suede under-pocket panels are integrated beneath the cartridge pockets, allowing the athlete to wipe the hand quickly when needed. This material is limited to the lower pocket area, ensuring that the shoulder pad retains its smooth glide characteristics. The solution enhances practical control without affecting mounting dynamics.
Castellani technical identity
The AirTech Sporting Shooting Vest reflects Castellani’s performance-driven approach: precise dimensioning, durable materials, and functional engineering aligned with competitive clay shooting demands. Each component is designed to support stability, controlled motion, and long-term structural reliability.
